The department is concerned with training specialized personnel in providing safe anesthetic care to patients before, during and after surgical operations, and managing critical intensive care cases.

Overview of the Department
Vision
The vision of the Computer Communications Networks branch is to offer distinctive, high-quality academic programs and educational services aimed at graduating technical engineers who are competent in the installation, operation, updating, maintenance, and programming of computer communications network equipment and all its accessories across various fields and applications.
Mission
The branch's mission is to qualify graduates of the Computer Communications Networks branch to become practical engineers capable of designing, operating, programming, maintaining, and updating computer communications networks, in addition to possessing the skill to effectively manage computer networks within different systems.
Objectives
To equip students with the scientific skills necessary to diagnose faults and perform maintenance on computer communications network systems.
To enable graduates to be proficient with all simulation software required for designing and programming all types of communication networks and their connection methods to the computer.
To provide students with detailed knowledge about various types of communication networks (wired, wireless, and optical) and how to manage them using personal or specialized computers.
To grant students knowledge of different types of microprocessors (general and specialized) and how to program them to suit the requirements of the designed communication network.
To provide graduates with the necessary knowledge to perform updates and development on computers and communication networks, such as satellite networks, cellular phone networks, and fiber optic networks.
To enable graduates to design "Adaptive" communication networks that possess the self-capacity to add or remove one or more users without affecting the network's performance.
